About the ECNLP

(European Community for Neuro-Linguistic Programming)

The ECNLP's goal is to create a communication platform for all practitioners of NLP in Europe.

To achieve this goal the ECNLP performs the following functions:

Lobbying for NLP and users of NLP

The ECNLP strives to be a platform for all users of NLP in Europe, which includes:

By creating such a centralized body meeting face-to-face with the bodies of the EU becomes possible. NLP methods and techniques can thus be integrated into standard proceedings in the European economy, education and health system.

European Standards

The curriculum employed by all NLP institutions and users can be divided into three parts:

  1. A standard curriculum guarantees compatibility of training levels across Europe.
  2. An optional curriculum allows for adoption to regional differences (which may arise from regional laws or the specificities of the regional market).
  3. An experimental curriculum guarantees the continuing development of NLP, assisted by a controlled evaluation process (PEP, see below).

European NLP-PEP (Permanent Evolution-Process)

If NLP shall continue to be the central platform for the most efficient tools for intra- and interpersonal communication, it is vital that it remain open for integration of both excellent enhancements and new developments originating from within NLP as well as from other schools for communication and personality development. When new content receives enough support it can take the following path: formalisation as an NLP process > presentation at an ECNLP conference (taking place every two years) > adoption in experimental curriculum > optional curriculum > standard curriculum.
